Comparing between Library and E-books | Advantages and Disdvantages of both | Which one you should go for ?
Hello friends,
When it comes to gaining information in 2020,
E-books sort of seems to have a lead ahead of all those books that have existed throughout the dayS. But still, writers publish their books, ever wondered why? Well, we have got you covered, hookup to understand why books are still important today and also to know why e-books are raising tides out there on the internet
The influx of e-books into the book collections of the Libraries once populated only with print books represents a shift in the culture of the book within the world. As such, it raises many questions about the potential differences in how users discover and use e-books as compared to print books. Do users prefer print or e-books and what factors may influence their preferences?
E-books
1. They're quicker to obtain.
People are really fast nowadays and when one wants specific information and if it's available in a book, you can simply purchase an eBook and download it immediately. Instead of waiting for a printed book to be delivered, you can assess this information now.
2. e-Books are more easily updated and upgraded.
Information changes rapidly today. Books on many subjects can become dated very quickly. eBooks can be easily and quickly kept up to date. When you order an eBook, it can be the most up-to-the-minute information available.
Unlike print books, eBooks borrowed from the library will never incur late fees. | S
3. You usually get far more than just the book.
Most eBooks are sold with bonuses and related information that usually don't come with the purchase of a traditional book. You might pay the same or even a bit more for an eBook, but you usually get more, too. Yeah, this has happened to me a lot of times.
4. E-Books take up less space.
This one is clearly visible, instead of a bulky library, you can fit literally thousands of books on your computer. It also makes it easier to share this information with family and coworkers.
5. E-Books don't use up trees.
It may seem strange to think than an electronic device could have less of an impact on the environment than traditional books, but eReaders can take fewer resources to create than a large number of books. Manufacturing one Kindle produces as much CO2 as producing 30 print books. Most avid readers will offset this figure in less than a year by switching to eBooks. While paper can be recycled, the paper recycling process itself can cause environmental pollution because of the sludge that is produced during the de-inking process.
6. They're more portable.
Everyone knows the easiest way to carry a library with you is your mobile phone. You can have quick and easy access to hundreds of books on your desktop computer, notebook, or eBook reader. They're much easier to take with you than traditional tomes.
7. References can be hot-linked.
Easy links to Web sites and other references can be placed in an electronic book. While reading, you can click on hotlinks to other places to find out more. With the proliferation of wireless networks, this will become even more useful. This one is also limited to e-books. Obviously one can provide a reference in his book, but it takes weeks to find that referred book
8. You can custom brand them.
This one’s a little crooky, Other people's eBooks can be branded with your name and you can allow others to brand YOUR eBooks with THEIR name. There are many viral eBooks and reports that the creators will often allow you to give away or sell, with your name or company's name shown on the cover or linked at the end.I don’t like this one though it is actually useful for some guys.
9. You can do global searches and find information quickly.
When you're looking for certain information within a book, you can easily find it using the find feature. It saves you time and aggravation looking for something in particular.
10. The technology will get better.
This is an emerging technology and people are often slow to change. But as the quality of monitors improves and becomes more compact and mobile, more and more we'll be reading electronic books. Because This is the future

eBooks can be read in low-light conditions
Printed books
1) Single-topic information
Of course, The Internet can bring you back with 100,000 Answers and that could be in the most crucial time when you require that information But Reading a Book can bring you back the right one, as I said above books are single-topic information, You will get all information and knowledge related to your question within it.
2) Books are relaxing
Yes, Books are more relaxing, it reduces depression, it reduces stress anxiety, it takes you to the imaginative world, it puts your mind and body at ease, losing yourself in a great story can be the perfect remedy for stress.
3) Lifelong principles
As I said Above, Books are a slow process because it allows their users and readers to internalize, respond, react and transform, The lifelong principles mentioned in a book, motivates readers, gives them the new path and new perspective, makes them see the world in a more positive way, make them see the world with a different perspective altogether, make them understand the actual happiness and reality of life, make them more responsible. This is something that I have experienced also
4) Brings positivity and piece of mind
Books spread motivation and positivity amongst its readers, it shares knowledge which allows the reader to see the world in a new way, it reduces mental pressure by giving a solution to their problems, books usually don’t have untrue facts, logic or information, books go through thorough checking before it gets published, the internet has the possibility of fake facts, Internet distract users by pop-ups and links, and the internet has many pages which share adultery videos, which usually distract users attention and focus, but that’s not the case with books, books are the single-based topic, they don’t have pop-ups and don’t share things which aren’t required.
5) Experience shared
Through books we learn from mentors, we learn from people who had faced the same problem which we are facing right now, in books mentor share solutions, their wisdom, their knowledge, and how they dealt with the problems, books are a solution giver.
THE MOST TECHNOLOGICALLY EFFICIENT MACHINE THAT MAN HAS EVER INVENTED IS THE BOOK.
– NORTHROP FRYE –
So as we conclude
To frankly speak about my opinion, I found a majority of my problems are always solved with solutions in books, so I would easily go with books any day, Many users still prefer print over electronic and many prefer books. E-books are here to stay, yet our findings suggest that the e-book offerings of libraries and publishers may be ahead of many users' preferences. These preferences are influenced by concerns over "readability," the varying quality of user platforms, and difficulties in the discovery of e-books.
This question has spawned many new questions that may be ripe for future research. Are readers making distinctions between recreational and professional reading? How does the use of e-books relate to an individual reader’s use of print books -- is there a corresponding decrease?
